Hi, I'm Clainee, a 24-year-old artist based in Texas. While I'm a marketer by trade with a degree in Communications, I've loved pets, art, and painting for as long as I can remember. This year, I set a goal to create more than I consume, and starting Clovermade has been one of the most fulfilling parts of that journey. Every portrait is painted by hand with lots of care, and I'm so grateful to share my love for art with fellow pet lovers.
How did Clovermade come to be?
My family has a 3-year-old Golden Retriever whom I love dearly. A while back, I painted him on a 4x6 canvas, and that piece sparked something in me. Then, in late December, while browsing a farmers market for a birthday gift for a friend, I came across some handmade magnets. I loved the idea, but none of the designs felt personal enough, so I decided to paint her beloved cat instead.
She absolutely loved it. Encouraged by her reaction, I listed a few pet portraits on Facebook Marketplace just to see what would happen. The response was incredible, and the rest is history. Since then, I've created over 300 hand-painted pet portraits and keepsakes, and I'm so grateful that something that started as a heartfelt gift has grown into what Clovermade is today.
